Happy New Year!

It is never too late for this greeting. The Lunar New Year is just starting on Monday so I find myself now in the free internet lounge of Gimhae International Airport since I am hours early for my Manila flight.

I am so so so excited with my vacation. Here's one picture of our celebration of the New Year 2009- the solar one.

A Couple Of Photos With My Birthday Mom

Two days before my first ever Lunar New Year Holidays happens to fall on January 22, my mom's birthday.

Here's a couple of our pics on the 3rd and final full day together in HK last August; my family was left behind for one more day in Disneyland while me and my Korean guests went ahead to meet Tesh in Manila.

Penguins '08: Exactly A Year Ago

5 days before my first ever Lunar New Year Holidays in the Philippines, I look back with 5 photos to this day last year when the currently 5-year old winter swimming fest in our island held its 4th.

The Curious Case of Davao City

My parents, aunts and my brother flew today for an 8-day Davao trip courtesy of my sister's generosity.

A few years ago, I went on a trip to the city of Durian together with friends Fred and Gretel and my dad and Gretel's mom (see photos in the photo section).

Back then, Fred and I met Han to experience the nightlife in Mayor Duterte's turf. Today, Han celebrates her birthday.

Happy birthday Han! All the best in your law careeer!

Also today, Gretel was chosen as one of the finalist in an online photo competition by www.imagphoto.com. Here's the finalist photo:

Davao is famous for its waling-waling orchids and butterflies.

Here's to congratulating Han and Gretel, and wishing my family a safe and enjoyable stay in Davao City!

Christmas Is All Around

The song made it to #1 on Christmas Day in the film Love, Actually, whose subject is love in all its possible form set around the Christmas season. Very fitting as the Christmas celebrations sprang out all because of Love. And note that in the song, the word love in the original was simply replaced with Christmas. You get the drift.

Here in Multiply, Christmas Is definitely All Around. I bet there is at least one Christmas-related entry in your current Inbox, mine included.

My friend Michelle who did a great job organizing our Filipino community annual Christmas party posted our pics yesterday. Here's our pic together in that party.

I won Best Dressed wohoo!

Finally, just this morning, I posted my Christmas day pics. The singer of Christmas Is All Round in the film said "Christmas is the time people spend with their loved ones". Since I am away from my family in the Philippines, this is the most that I could do: call and talk to them and spend my day with my friends here.

Thanks everyone for a meaningful Christmas celebrations and cheers for the New Year!
