The 80's Are Back!

Last Sunday, Journey's 1981 hit Don't Stop Believin' was performed by the 24 survivors of Philippine talent search Starstruck. Gleeks out there will remember this hit being performed in the pilot of American show Glee.

Last month, the re-imagining of 80s TV show V premiered in the States. Next year, the 80s Filipino hit movie Working Girls will be re-imagined as well, starring Miss Eugene Domingo, among others.

This year, the most searched word in yahoo is probably the biggest headliner from the 80s era, Michael Jackson. Speaking of MJ, here are some of his acrobat dancers from This Is It, his concert film featuring his big hits from the 80s:



Even the toys from the 80s are coming to life on the big screen, from GI Joe to Transformers, indeed the 80s are back. And even Aqua has a song about it:



And we in Geoje, South Korea will not be left behind.

Last month, it was not only Miley Cyrus who celebrated her birthday by giving 80s a throwback, but our very own Tey also.
